CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

Content

This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services.
In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

They may have responsibility for supervision of volunteers or other staff.

Vocational outcomes for graduates of this qualification may include:

  • Authorised supervisor (children's services)
  • Early childhood educator
  • Family day care coordinator
  • Centre manager (children's services)
  • Director (children's services)

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this course.

Contained within the Diploma are 11 core units found within CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Students enrolling into the Diploma who hold the most current Certificate III will have advanced entry. That is, they won't be required to complete the 11 units shown below in blue. 

**Please note that CHC30113 has been revised since its initial release so not everyone who holds this course code will necessarily have completed all 11 required units to be awarded advanced entry.

Shoud you enrol with an older Certificate III PLUS you can demonstrate recent and relevant industry experience, TLC has developed an RPL gap assessement tool for these 11 units.
