The Enterprise Based Productivity Places Program (EBPPP) is a new program making available $25 million by the Commonwealth (through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, DEEWR) to increase the skill levels of existing workers in occupations on the priority occupations list (this includes child care, aged care and community services work). Qualifications will be part-funded from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level for either RPL, workplace based training or a combination of both.
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relation’s (DEEWR) contribution will depend on the size of the business, with organisations with less than 100 employees receiving 90 per cent of their training costs, those with between 100 and 199 receiving 75 percent, and those with 200 or more employees receiving 50 per cent of their training costs.
At this stage the Community Services and Health – Industry Skills Council (CS&H) is asking for businesses to go on line and complete a training needs analysis. You only need to complete Level One, using the 7Scope training tool provided on line. No cost – easy and quick! Click here to access the training needs analysis tool.
TLC is committed to assisting you in expressing your interest. Call our office on 07 3809 3246 if you have any questions, or call your training consultant should you need assistance in completing the on line tool. They will be happy to visit your service and assist where able.
Be sure to list ‘TLC Training Solutions’ in the “Has the RTO been identified?” section if you want to study Children’s Services, Aged Care, Community Services Work or TAA (Training and Assessment) qualifications.
Following receipt of your training needs analysis, CS&H will contact you to discuss the program further.
Act today – the deadline for receiving expressions of interest is Wednesday 23 December 2009.
